Who we are

Greenote Lite is operated by Veriden Technologies Private Limited, Shop No. 2, Ground Floor, RCC House, Hase Complex, Karkhana Road, Akole, Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, 422601, India. This policy explains what data we collect when you use Greenote Lite at https://lite.greenote.app, and how we use and protect it. You can reach us any time at support@greenote.app.

Your statement file

Uploaded statement files are processed in memory and in short-lived temporary files that are deleted immediately after processing completes or fails. We never store your statement file. Not in a database, not in object storage, not in logs.

The report

The Excel report is generated and streamed straight to your browser as a download. We do not keep a copy on our servers. The file you download is your only copy, so keep it safe.

Information we collect

• The email address and mobile number you provide, to verify you, deliver your report, track your free trial and credit balance, and send you the link to the full Greenote desktop app.
• Payment records created by Razorpay (order id, payment id, amount, status). We never see or store your card, UPI or bank credentials; payment collection happens entirely on Razorpay's systems.
• Basic technical logs needed to run the service securely.

How we use it

Only to provide the service (verification, delivering reports, managing credits and payments, and support), and to notify you about the product. We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not train any models on your statements. The one measurement tool we use is described under Cookies & analytics below.

Cookies & analytics

• Essential cookie: a session cookie keeps you signed in after you verify your email. It cannot be switched off; the service does not work without it.
• Preferences: your light/dark theme choice is stored in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device.
• Meta Pixel: we use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure how well our ads work. It sets a cookie (_fbp) and reports events such as page views and purchases to Meta. It never sees your statement file, its contents, or your reports. You can limit this with your browser's tracking protection or an ad blocker, and control how Meta uses this data in your Meta ad preferences.

Data retention & your rights

Statement files are never retained. Your account contact details and payment records are kept while your account is active and as required for tax and accounting law. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data by emailing support@greenote.app.
